Morehead City Elementary Enhances Performing Arts Stage
Morehead City Elementary School is thrilled to announce exciting upgrades to our Performing Arts stage, with the completion of Phase 1 in a multi-phase renovation project. These enhancements are designed to support our music and performance programs while enriching the educational experience for all students.
The newly installed stage curtains and upgraded sound system mark the first step in transforming our space into a professional-grade performance venue. These enhancements have already elevated events like our annual Talent Show, and we look forward with excitement to the 2025–26 Veteran’s Day Celebration, as well as our Winter and Spring Concerts. Students now perform with greater confidence and clarity, while audiences enjoy a more immersive and polished experience.
Beyond music performances, the upgraded stage can now be used by teachers across grade levels for student presentations and school-wide events, making it a shared space that benefits the entire school community.
