At the Carteret County Board of Education meeting on October 7th, Principal Chris Davis proudly introduced two Croatan High School students who led the Pledge of Allegiance — Kaytyn Hughes, Freshman and SGA Representative, and Sydney Paige Poole, Freshman.
Both students were recognized with certificates for representing Croatan with excellence and leadership. 🐾💛💙

Athletics: Come support our football team! Our next home games are the Homecoming Game on October 3rd (Black and Gold theme!) and the Pink Out game on October 24th.
Teacher Spotlight: This month, we're highlighting Mr. Slater , who teaches English 4 and coaches men's soccer! He's taught at CHS for 20 years. His advice? "Just show up and try, it'll take you places'.

Today, Croatan High School pauses to honor the lives lost and the heroes who emerged on September 11, 2001. Our campus observed a moment of silence, and our flags fly at half-staff as a tribute to the strength and resilience of our nation.
Teachers also take time to remind students of the lessons we have carried forward from this day—unity, courage, and the importance of coming together as a country in the face of adversity.
We will never forget.
